Ham radio operator, AJ4QM, hit the airwaves for the first time at the GSARC (W4GS) Field Day 2009! Thanks to the generosity of the members in attendance, I learned a lot about operating and contesting. Although it was a typically hot and humid weekend, it was worth it. Looking forward to a lifetime of learning and operating! Currently, running a kenwood TM-261a 2 meter rig out of my truck. Hope to get a shack together at the home qth soon.
